Residual Grout Remover – for removing excess grout – Genesis Floorcare
Residual Grout Remover is a blend of acids and detergents specifically formulated to remove excess grout after tiling, and is suitable for both porous and non-porous surfaces. Unlike conventional acids, Residual Grout Remover is not hazardous to the user during the cleaning process, and contains inhibitors to prevent attacking any metal components associated with the building. Residual Grout Remover’s powerful formula is extremely cost effective due to its dilution ratio.

Mask off any areas that could tarnish when in contact with acids. Soak the floor with water so that it is damp but not wet. After testing mix to the correct solution. Apply the solution to the area using a mop or plastic watering can. Allow time (approx 10 min) for the solution to break down the dirt. Do not allow the solution to dry out. Scrub as necessary in order to remove the dirt but not damage the surface. Rinse off with fresh clean water until no bubbles or residues remain. Inspect after allowing the surface to dry. Repeat if necessary. Upon completion it may be necessary to neutralize the surface with power clear as subsequent sealers are liable to fail if applied to an acidic surface.
