PERFECT LINES AND CURVES WITH THE COMBI SLALOM MADE BY BREVETTI MONTOLIT
The Montolit Combi-Slalom combines the typical linear cutting capability (straight or diagonal) of traditional manual tile cutters with a facility for cutting curves (plain, “S”, arc and others).
To make this possible, Brevetti Montolit design engineers have developed a machine featuring a special support stand and special scoring wheel carriage capable of movement along two axes, which operators can guide using the variable template, or simply working freehand.
Special ball bearing bushes sliding on chrome-plated casehardened and ground bars guarantee smooth and precise movement.
The tiles are snapped using a special screw-operated mechanism in scratch and stain resistant plastic which when fitted to the work surface of the machine allows pressure to be applied to the tile gradually (essential for particularly complex curved cuts).
The work surface is made of waterproof phenol-bonded beech plywood and incorporates a handy box for storing a spare scoring wheel.
