BAL Admix GT1 - admixture for wall and floor tile grouts
BAL Admix GT1 is a polymer additive for BAL cement-based grouts. The addition of BAL ADMIX GT1 greatly improves the physical properties of the grout. Not for use with adhesives.
It can improve the physical properties/performance of the following:-
- Bal Grout
- Bal Wide Joint Grout
- Bal Microcolour Grout
- Bal Microcolour Wide Joint Grout
The addition of BAL ADMIX GT1 to BAL’s microcolour wall grout greatly improves its physical properties and characteristics.
Increased Mechanical Strength
- Providing greater adhesion to tile edges e.g. glass, mosaics and fully vitrified tiles.
- Providing greater abrasion resistance. Particularly important in heavily trafficked areas such as shopping malls.
Increased Flexural Strength and Flexibility
- Enabling grouts to be used where limited movement/vibration is anticipated e.g heated screeds and timber floors.
Reduced Water Permeability
- Providing greater protection to water sensitive backgrounds and minimising the risk of efflorescence.
