Invisible Sealer – clear silicone sealant to maintain the natural look of tiles – from Genesis Floorcare

Invisible Sealer is a clear silicone sealer that will maintain the natural look of the tile.  It is suitable for all low porous tile such as granite, marble and porcelain, and even low porous terracotta, repelling water and most oils.  Invisible Sealer is UV stable and suitable for both interior and exterior applications.   The sealer  impregnates the tile and therefore maintains the anti-slip factors of the tile.

Useage

Tile must be 100% dry before application.  Clean and reapply the sealer whenever the repellant feature of the sealer wears out.  Only use Genesis Multi Clean to maintain the floor after treating with Invisible Sealer.

How to Use

Ensure that the tile is clean and free from grout, cement, oil, wax and other stains (clean with Genesis Floor Care products as necessary). Ensure that the tile is totally dry before applying the sealer (wait 48 hours after cleaning). Using a suitable applicator, apply an even coat of invisible sealer. Wipe off any excess sealer that has not penetrated after 15 minutes. Wait approx 2 hours for the coat to dry. Apply a second and third coat if necessary following the directions as above Allow to cure before trafficking (12 hours).

Maintenance

To prolong the life of the sealer clean with a mild and neutral detergent like Genesis Multi Clean.  Clean spillages immediately.

Tips

Do not use paint rollers.  Use a lint free cloth or a sheepskin applicator to apply Invisible Sealer.  Do not apply while the floor is still damp.
Allow 10 -14 days after laying the tile before sealing.  Do not pre-seal tiles when using Invisible Sealer.  Excess sealer marks may be removed by reapplying a small amount of Invisible Sealer and buffing off with a dry cloth.  Do not allow water on the floor for 48 hours after sealing.
