BAL Admix AD1 admixture for wall and floor tile adhesives
BAL Amix AD1 is for use with BAL`s Rapidset, Goldstar, CTF 3 and Pourable Thick Bed adhesives to improve their physical properties and performance. The addition of BAL Admix AD1 gives these adhesives a higher bond strength allowing them to be used to fix fully vitrified and porcelain tiles and affording them with a greater level of flexibility so that they may be used on a wider range of backgrounds/bases. Not for use with grouts.

Performance
The addition of BAL-ADMIX AD1 to BAL’s cement-based adhesives greatly improves their physical properties and characteristics.
- Increased tensile and shear adhesion strength.
- Essential for fixing fully vitrified tiles and glass mosaics.
- Essential for fixing ceramic and natural stone tiles, slabs and mosaics to dense impervious backgrounds/bases including glazed ceramic tiles, power floated concrete and tile backer boards.
- Increased flexural strength and flexibility.
- Enabling the adhesives to be used where limited movement/vibration is anticipated e.g. heated screeds, industrial locations and balconies.
