BAL Epoxy LV – epoxy resin based grout for hygeinic and chemical resistant applications

BAL Epoxy LV is a high performace, flowable epoxy resin based grout for the production of hygeinc, chemically resistant, watertight joints between ceramic floor tiles. Especially suitable for large installations where its ease of use, speed of application and clean-off provide significant time savings. Also suitable as a high performance epoxy adhesive for fixing ceramic tiles.

BAL-EPOXY LV comprises 3 components, a powder FILLER, a liquid RESIN and a liquid HARDENER.

BAL-EPOXY LV has excellent physical and chemical properties. Once fully cured the material is water impermeable with a high resistance to chemicals, staining, bacteria, abrasion and impact. The low viscosity of the grout guarantees a completely full, dense, smooth joint. Also suitable as a high performance epoxide resin adhesive exceeding the requirements of BS EN 12004 Adhesive for tile definitions and specifications for a R1 Adhesive.

Classification

BAL-EPOXY LV meets the performance requirements of BS 5980 : 1980 for adhesion and resistance to mould growth and BS 5385, Part 4 : 1992 section 9 for use in sterile conditions. The product also meets the requirements of “The Food Safety Act 1990”, “The Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995” and the EC Directive on the Hygiene of Foodstuffs.
