BAL Quickset Cement – for screeds and render mortars

BAL Quickset Cemetn is specially formulated grey cement, requiring the addition of sand then mixing with water. For the preparation of fast-setting, low shrinkage mortars to be used as screeds or renders.

Performance

Suitable for the preparation of fast-setting mortars to be used as screeds and renders in interior and exterior locations. The set mortar will be water-resistant and suitable for use in wet areas, e.g. showers, but will not be impervious to water. At 20°C, BAL QUICKSET CEMENT enables screeds to be subjected to foot traffic after 3 hours. Ceramic tiles and other floor and wall coverings may be fixed after 24 hours. BAL QUICKSET CEMENT screeds do not provide a wearing surface.
