Polish Stripper – also strips wax – from Genesis Floorcare

Polish Stripper is a quick, safe, easy-to-use wax and polish stripper. Easily removes old layers of wax and polish, restoring a floor to its original finish, in preparation for sealing. Polish Stripper is very economical due to its dilution ratio.

How to Use

Wear protective gloves. Mask off areas that need to be protected. Always test for desired results in an inconspicuous area before beginning the task. Use the following table for dilution ratios. Dilute with fresh clean water only (preferably hot).

Quick stripping of very old wax and polish	Neat	10 square metres
Slow stripping regular or annual stripping	4 – 1	50 square metres

After testing mix the correct dilution. Apply the solution to the area using a mop watering can or spray. Allow 3- 5 mins for the solution to break down the dirt. Do not allow the solution to dry out. Scrub as necessary in order to remove the dirt but not to damage the surface. Rinse off with fresh clean water only until no bubbles or residues remain. Inspect after allowing the surface to dry. Repeat if necessary. It is recommended that the floor be cleaned with Genesis Power Clean and rinsed thoroughly after stripping.

Tip

To check if the floor has been completely stripped, wipe with a damp cloth and inspect for uniformity. There should be no light and dark patches as this will be evidence of polish residues.
